I am excited to announce that renovations will begin at Queen Elizabeth beginning on Monday.  The office areas will be undergoing a transformation!  We will be getting a new and improved front vestibule, reception area, staff room, offices and even a meeting room!

 

The ‘construction zone’ will be around the front doors of the school, so for the time being, our new ‘front door’ will be at the doors by the large parking lot that look out on Highland Road.   The doorbell, CCTV camera, and security system have all been moved to this door, so if you need to bring something to the school, or pick up your student, please come to this door.

 

In order to keep everyone safe, please avoid the front walkway and grassy areas at the front of the school near the front door at all times.  There will be a large garbage bin there to hold the results of the demolition which will take place in the coming weeks.  There may also be other construction items, so please stay clear.   The tarmac and field areas at the back of the school should not be affected.

 

The section of the school that is being renovated will be securely blocked off to keep students and staff safe should students be welcomed back to in-person learning.

 

Our fingers are crossed that all of the work will be completed by September, so that we can welcome everyone back in style on September 7^th.
